ನೀವು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀರಾ? (Neevu marukattege hoguttirya?) – Are you going to the market?

ನಾನು ಅಂಗಡಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ (Naanu angadige hoguttene) – I am going to the shop.

ನೀವು ಆಫೀಸಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತೀರಾ? (Neevu ofisige baruttirya?) – Are you coming to the office?

ಅವನು ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದನು (Avanu maneyege hadanu) – He went home.

From (ರಿಂದ – inda)

ನೀವು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತೀರಾ? (Neevu marukatteyinda baruttirya?) – Are you coming from the market?

ನಾನು ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ (Naanu maneyinda baruttene) – I am coming from home.

ನೀವು ಶಾಲೆಯಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತೀರಾ? (Neevu shaleyinda baruttirya?) – Are you coming from school?

ಅವಳು ಕಚೇರಿಯಿಂದ ಬಂದಳು (Avalu kaceryinda bandalu) – She came from the office.

For (ಗಾಗಿ – gaagi)

ನಾನು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತೇನೆ (Naanu nimgagi kayuttene) – I will wait for you.

ನೀವು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ? (Neevu nanagagi enu maduttiri?) – What will you do for me?

ಅವನು ನಮ್ಮಗಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ (Avanu nammagaagi kelasa maduttane) – He works for us.

Above (ಮೇಲೆ – mele)

ಪುಸ್ತಕವು ಮೇಜಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದೆ (Pustakavu mejina mele ide) – The book is on the table.

On (ಮೇಲೆ – mele)

ಪುಸ್ತಕವು ಮೇಜಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದೆ (Pustakavu mejina mele ide) – The book is on the table.

ಚಿತ್ರವು ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದೆ (Chitravalu goddeya mele ide) – The picture is on the wall.

ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ (Naanu nanna kaalugala mele nintiddene) – I am standing on my feet.

In (ಲ್ಲಿ – li)

ನಾನು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ (Naanu maneyalli iddene) – I am in the house.

ನೀವು ಕೋಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೀರಾ? (Neevu koNeyalli iddirya?) – Are you in the room?

ಅವಳು ಉದ್ಯಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾಳೆ (Avalu udyanadalli iddhale) – She is in the garden.

Left (ಎಡ – eda)

ನಾನು ಎಡಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ (Naanu edakke hoguttene) – I will go to the left.

ಎಡಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮರವಿದೆ (Edabhagadaalli ondu maravide) – There is a tree on the left side.

ನೀವು ಎಡಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ (Neevu edakke tirugi) – Turn left.

Right (ಬಲ – bala)

ನಾನು ಬಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ (Naanu balakke hoguttene) – I will go to the right.

ಬಲಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕಟ್ಟಡವಿದೆ (Balabhagadaalli ondu kattadavide) – There is a building on the right side.

ನೀವು ಬಲಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ (Neevu balakke tirugi) – Turn right.

Center/Middle (ಮಧ್ಯ – madhya)

ನಾನು ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ (Naanu madhyadalli nintiddene) – I am standing in the middle.

ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕಾರಂಜಿಯಿದೆ (Madhyadalli ondu karanjiyide) – There is a fountain in the middle.

ನೀವು ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ (Neevu madhyadalli nintukooli) – Stand in the middle.

Back (ಹಿಂದೆ – hindhe)

ನಾನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ (Naanu hindakke hoguttene) – I will go back.

ಹಿಂದಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲು ತೆರೆಯಿರಿ (Hindina baagilu thereyiri) – Open the back door.

ನೀವು ಹಿಂದೆ ನೋಡಿ (Neevu hindhe noodi) – Look back.

Forward (ಮುಂದೆ – munde)

ನಾನು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ (Naanu mundakke hoguttene) – I will go forward.

ಮುಂದಿನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇರಿಸಿ (Mundina hejje irisi) – Take the next step forward.

ನೀವು ಮುಂದೆ ನೋಡಿ (Neevu munde noodi) – Look forward.

At (ಲ್ಲಿ – li)
